Appraisal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Appraisal Specialist to join our team at Equity Bank. As an Appraisal Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our real estate collateral process. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal bank policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough reviews of real estate appraisals and collateral evaluations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Assign appraisal reviews and real estate collateral evaluations to ensure timely and efficient processing.
• Balance the Appraisal Shield pass-through GL account monthly to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Complete compliance appraisal reviews as needed to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with lending staff to communicate appraisal and internal evaluation guidelines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of banking or relevant experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to understand and follow applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Information security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.
