Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio-Visual Project Coordinator to join our team at Designs that Compute. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and computer skills.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of projects related to the installation, configuration, and commissioning of high-end audio-visual systems at various types of venues.
  • Drive success of project teams by maintaining exceptional communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously using provided tools, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized staging area free from safety obstructions and debris.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate tasks leading up to, planning for, and executing a job installation schedule.
  • Manage equipment ordering, receipt, and staging for projects.
  • Work with engineering to ensure documentation and programming are complete prior to install.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure proper pre-build and testing processes occur.
  • Account for hours expenditures, cost expenditures, and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree desired, coupled with PMP (in-progress acceptable) or Six Sigma experience/certifications.
  • Possess an exceptionally professional, clean-cut appearance as the face of the company to the customer.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and accounting systems, especially AP/AR processes related to projects.
  • Industry understanding of direct audio-visual experience preferred but not required.

Salary Estimate: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
