Job Overview

Felix Construction Company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead project teams on water and wastewater treatment projects in the Dallas metro area.

Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in construction management, civil engineering or mechanical engineering, and at least 5 years of experience in the water/wastewater construction industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients, GCs, superintendents, safety manager, field personnel, estimators, project managers, and all others involved in projects.
  • Coordinate and effectively manage material schedules, work schedules, job material and equipment purchases.
  • Complete installation drawing packages for field team using AutoCAD.
  • Produce project billings, budgets, and purchase orders.
  • Process change order requests, and related project administrative documents.
  • Complete effective and accurate submittals.
  • Prepare and review operations and maintenance manuals.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Construction management, civil engineering or mechanical engineering degree required.
  • 5+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience highly desired.
  • Advanced Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam skills required.
  • Basic AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Able to read plans and specifications for all disciplines on a typical water/wastewater project.
  • Alternative Procurement Delivery Method (APDM) experience highly desired (CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC, etc.).
