Key Responsibilities

As a Neurosurgeon Specialist, your primary duties will include:

1. Conducting comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will provide surgical and non-surgical interventions for various neurological conditions, ensuring high standards of patient care.
2. Managing clinical rounds and overseeing the care of patients, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups. You will maintain accurate and timely documentation in both paper and electronic medical records.
3. Engaging in quality improvement initiatives within the Neurosurgery Service, contributing to the enhancement of clinical practices and patient outcomes.
4. Educating and mentoring surgical residents, delivering lectures, and participating in research activities to support the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. Your role will include evaluating residents and contributing to academic committees.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurosurgery.
• Possession of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada.
• A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in any U.S. jurisdiction.
