Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including structural, thermal, and vibration/modal FEA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, cost, and reliability requirements.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design meets company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve design capabilities.
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design/solid modeling, with a focus on structural, thermal, and vibration/modal FEA.
- Proficiency with analysis tools such as Matlab, Labview, or Python.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including motion control, servo tuning, and high-resolution feedback devices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in semiconductor capital equipment design.
- Knowledge of motion control and servo tuning.
- Experience with high-resolution feedback devices, such as encoders and laser interferometer.
