Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team at Life Flight Network. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating Pilatus aircraft to transport critically ill and/or injured patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and safe for operation.
  • Plan and execute flights, taking into account weather conditions, air traffic control, and other factors to ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients.
  • Load passengers, baggage, and cargo, and ensure that all necessary safety equipment is on board.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs and records of flight operations, including weather conditions, flight plans, and any incidents or issues that may arise.
  • Clean and maintain the aircraft, unit quarters, and hangar to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a professional pilot.
  • Must hold a FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
  • 2500 hours PIC time Airplane.
  • 1500 Turbine hours.
  • 500 hours in a turbo prop aircraft.
  • 250 hours instrument time.
  • 250 hours of unaided night time experience.
  • 25 hours operating a PC-12 and successful completion of ground and flight school within last 12 months preferred.
  • Recent air medical transportation experience preferred.
  • Mountain experience preferred.
  • Current FAA Second class flight physical.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization.
