Job Summary

Ebenezer Senior Living is seeking a skilled Float Chef/Cook to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will be responsible for floating to different Ebenezer locations to fulfill Chef vacancies, ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Fills in for chef vacancies at various Ebenezer locations
  • Assists with special events
  • Follows standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value
  • Handles and prepares food in a safe manner following policies and procedures of infection control and safety
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment after each use or per the routine cleaning schedule
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff
Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Serv Safe certification required within first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of previous experience
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Food Service
