Job Title: Staff Accountant

Company Description

The Bolton Group is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and controlling the General Ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department.
  • Process and investigate account reconciliations.
  • Process expense allocations, monthly accruals, inventory, fixed assets depreciation, and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary.
  • Participate in Budgeting and Financial Forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and enhancement of financial reports.
  • Analyze trends and support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA Accounting degree.
  • Relevant Accounting skills gained through 2-4 years of work-related experience. Financial Services industry a plus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and propose solutions.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and an ERP system.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
