  • Perform minor bodywork and surface preparation for paint
  • Remove and install parts as necessary
  • Precisely match colors and mix paints
  • Familiarity with BASF/PPG paint systems
  • Formulate refinish coatings, including primers, base coats, and clear coats
  • Visually inspect clear coat imperfections
  • Color match by eye and blend paint
  • Maintain a clean workspace and equipment
  • Ensure quality and efficiency in repairs
  • Problem-solve and correct paint imperfections
  • Manage time effectively
  • Communicate clearly with production and management
  • Operate sanders, sanding blocks, spray guns, paint mixers, paint scales, and other equipment
  • Perform basic math calculations for mixing paint
  • Deliver high-quality repairs as estimated, meeting customer expectations

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of collision repair and refinish experience
  • Ability to complete all steps in the refinishing process
  • High attention to quality work
  • High production capability
  • State Certification and ICAR or ASE Certifications (preferred)
