This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Baker Auto Group as an Automotive Refinish Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality refinishing to collision damaged components and assemblies.

As a key member of our team, you will demonstrate strong technical and customer service skills, satisfying guests through hard work and skilled repairs.

As an Automotive Refinish Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Mixing appropriate amounts of materials to minimize waste
  • Tinting colors to obtain accurate color matches to the vehicle's existing finish
  • Applying primer, sealer, color, and clearcoat to vehicle components and assemblies
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized
  • Assisting other technicians as needed for prepping vehicles for paint
  • Following and complying with all standard operating procedures and hazardous waste disposal
  • Assisting in developing or refining standard operating procedures as required
  • Following and complying with all required health and safety requirements
  • Maintaining acceptable appearances
  • Complying with and following all scheduled work hours and attendance policies
  • Complying with the business code of conduct and other policies
  • Understanding and carrying out oral and written directions
  • Reading work orders to confirm that the work performed matches the work order
