Position Summary:

Aquatech is currently seeking a full-time Senior Financial Analyst (CPA) to join our team. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will undertake the responsibilities outlined in the job description below, classified as an Exempt employee.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a CPA designation or experience in a Big Four firm. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player, with prior experience in SAP or the ability to learn SAP quickly.

Essential Qualifications:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Accounting with a bachelor's degree
  • CPA certification
  • Experience in a Big Four firm (preferred)
  • Familiarity with project accounting under ASC606 (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute a variety of general accounting tasks related to the general ledger.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly company consolidations.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations between intercompany accounts.
  • Contribute to the monthly financial review process, including closing and management information system (MIS) reporting.
  • Carry out various monthly reconciliations associated with the general ledger.
  • Collaborate with international subsidiaries for financial statement preparation and MIS reporting, including monitoring and reviewing financial reports from branches and subsidiaries.
  • Maintain cash analysis for international subsidiaries.
  • Prepare financial and variance analyses for relevant general ledger accounts.
  • Engage with banks and financial institutions to manage lines of credit.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure timely compliance with Federal and State tax regulations.
  • Undertake additional accounting duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational operations.
Required Skills:
  • Comprehensive understanding and oversight of accounting practices related to branches and subsidiaries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
