About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to lead our Life Sciences business globally. As the VP Sales, Global Life Sciences, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry, with a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
  2. Drive advancement of Leica Biosystems strategy through deep understanding of Life Science customer segments, needs, and how these map to our solutions portfolio today, and future roadmap.
  3. Oversee forecasting, sales budgeting, and sales performance, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with business goals.
  4. Build, lead, and mentor a high-caliber global sales team with 15-30+ associates.
  5. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor to promote long-term partnerships.
  6. Continuously drive Voice of the Customer (VOC) back into all parts of the business by collaborating with marketing, product, and customer success teams to enhance product-market fit and successful launch of new solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field with 20+ years of sales experience in the Life Sciences industry, with at least 10 years in an executive sales leadership role OR Masters/Doctoral degree with 18+ years of sales experience in the Life Sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets on a global scale in Life Sciences, Diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated expertise leading within a technology-driven, solutions-based multi-national medical technology or scientific products company, with an emphasis on marketing, sales, distributor management, commercial operations, and customer support.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements impacting Life Sciences sales.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics platforms, with a data-driven approach to sales management.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $170,000 to $225,000, with opportunities for bonus and incentive pay. Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k). Remote work arrangement available for eligible roles.
