We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead our Custom Engineered-To-Order business. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding a team of Engineers and CAD Specialists to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage a team of onsite and hybrid employees to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Design and Development: Create design solutions for manufacturable products that meet engineering standards, project objectives, and user requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Consistently solve complex problems with simple cost-effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend activities and methods to improve company goals and initiatives within the scope of the position.
- Manufacturing Support: Stay current with Tournesol manufacturing capabilities and provide support for manufacturing/production implementation.
- Travel: Travel to installation locations and/or other Tournesol locations may be required on occasion.
- Education: B.S. degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, or similar).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in engineering lead/manager role.
- Skills: 3D parametric modeling, drawing/BOM creation, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or other CAD platforms.
- Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles and processes, including DfX, FEA, structural calculations, prototyping, and assembly.
- Competitive Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 annually, based on location and experience.
