About the Role
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to enhancing revenue, adoption, and growth from a diverse range of customers, from small and mid-market accounts to large enterprise clients, including public sector organizations.

The AWS Global Support team collaborates with leading enterprises, recognizing that exceptional support is vital for customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global array of clients developing mission-critical applications utilizing AWS services.

We are in search of a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to assist clients in achieving sustained business value by expediting their cloud transformation journey. The ideal candidate will guide clients in designing and implementing strategic migrations to the AWS cloud while developing modern, cloud-native solutions tailored to their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Formulate a near, mid, and long-term vision and strategy for clients' cloud transformation by collaborating with customers and AWS account teams.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer engagement skills across all organizational levels, fostering long-term relationships based on excellence.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of existing and emerging technologies related to cloud computing to unlock opportunities for clients.
  • Demonstrate a strong background in change management, seamlessly integrating organizational change best practices into project delivery.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through targeted education and enablement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for AWS service adoption and best practice implementations.
  • Efficiently manage time and engage necessary Customer, AWS, and Partner teams to expedite the customer's cloud journey.
  • Serve as a thought leader across Amazon organizations, sharing success mechanisms, mentoring junior CSMs, and influencing industry trends.

A Day in the Life
You will drive business value realization, possessing a robust technical background, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. Your enterprise cloud experience and operational excellence will guide the team's decisions, providing insights that help develop secure and robust solutions.

You will work to identify and eliminate obstacles for the team while actively managing performance and results for the organization. Building trust-based, long-term strategic relationships with customer leaders will be essential, along with maintaining an in-depth understanding of existing and developing cloud technologies.
