Job Title: Nutrition Room Manager (Formula and Human Milk)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nutrition Room Manager to oversee the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services for centralized formula and human milk services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the teams that prepare, label, store, and deliver all formulas and human milk in the Nutrition Room for infants, pediatric, and adult patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight of systems and processes to ensure strategic and operational objectives for the department are met.
  • Establish goals and oversee implementation of new and changing processes.
  • Hire, lead, direct, train, develop, and evaluate new and existing nutrition technician team members.
  • Communicate effectively with all care team members and patients through conferences, individual consultation, and committee participation.
  • Participate in meetings where department goals are established and implement action plans to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Complete all required projects, documentation, reports, and logs in a timely, professional, and thorough manner.
Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills required to be successful.
