Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team at Hyatt Place Charleston. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting hotel guests to and from the airport, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the hotel's shuttle van, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of guests
  • Assist guests with luggage, including heavy lifting, as needed
  • Provide guests with hotel and area information, ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the shuttle van and uniform
  • Monitor shuttle van maintenance needs and report to management
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for guests, adhering to company standards
  • Perform deep cleaning of assigned areas and maintain common spaces, including the parking lot
  • Set up and maintain complimentary hotel lobby functions and meeting room services
  • Deliver service items to guest rooms upon request from the front desk
  • Ensure efficient completion of daily assignments in a timely manner
  • Use supplies efficiently and report any safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings and be flexible with schedule and assignments
  • Follow proper procedures for lost and found items, guest safety, and guest requests
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently and with others
  • Good communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Ability to give and follow verbal and written instructions, with attention to detail
  • Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift/carry up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Ability to multi-task and display good initiative
