As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the capacity planning team from a compute perspective, ensuring the effective management and reporting of utilization, use, and performance of all systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure solutions for business applications
  • Participate in projects to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third-party vendors
  • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
  • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Review and manage the performance metrics of physical and virtualization platforms to run and support workloads
  • Ability to provide detailed system reporting to Leadership and to the technical group to showcase availability of capacity against agreed targets
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in managing the compute infrastructure environment for a large technology organization
  • Experience with converged infrastructure solutions that involve Servers, Storage, and Network
  • Experience with tools like VM Ware tools like VROPS, VRA, or other infrastructure reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in understanding the infrastructure components and its capabilities from OEM manufacturers like Dell, HPE, Cisco, Arista, Intel, AMD, and IBM
  • Ability to work with Engineering teams in evaluating new products and technologies and provide support and inputs related to capacity management
  • Evaluate capacity utilization and use tools to help right-size environments to improve utilization. Look for performance concerns and proactively recommend solutions to avoid outages or performance challenges
