Job Overview:

Prutech Solutions is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and manage its cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services, cloud security, compliance in banking, and experience working in highly regulated environments.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of GCP into the bank's ecosystem and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using GCP for various banking applications.
  • Architect cloud infrastructure that aligns with business requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, including assessment, strategy formulation, and hands-on implementation.
  • Develop the cloud strategy, including cost optimization, security, and scalability.
  • Drive the adoption of cloud-native services such as Kubernetes (GKE), BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and other GCP offerings.
  • Define and implement governance policies to ensure efficient cloud management.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets all regulatory and compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, SOC2, GDPR, etc.) for financial institutions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to define and implement cloud security protocols, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Lead the integration of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and automated deployments on GCP.
  • Optimize cloud operations and monitoring, implementing tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
  • Partner with business units, application teams, and other technology stakeholders to understand their cloud requirements and provide scalable GCP solutions.
  • Work closely with the IT security and compliance teams to address any risks and ensure the highest security standards.
  • Guide and mentor engineering teams in GCP services, tools, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Document best practices for cloud infrastructure, application design, and ensure adherence across teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on GCP.
  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, or similar highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing cloud security best practices, including IAM, data encryption, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in cloud migration and modernization of legacy applications to GCP.
  • Deep understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes (GKE), BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and more.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, container orchestration, and serverless computing.
  • Strong proficiency in DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Terraform, and GitOps.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • Strong expertise in networking, security, monitoring, and cost management in the cloud.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Other cloud or security certifications (AWS, Azure, CISSP) are a plus
