Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, monitor, and manage the District's networking infrastructure to ensure seamless operations for voice, data, and wireless services.
  • Assist in managing network and physical security solutions to safeguard our systems.
  • Provision ONTs, switches, and other devices for deployment in the District's telecommunications network.
  • Provide technical support for the District's telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze, design, and implement new equipment and network topologies.
  • Support the maintenance of the District's server infrastructure.
  • Assist with Microsoft endpoint configuration management using Intune.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's Degree in Networking or Computer Science with at least two years of experience in information technology.
  • Strong technical understanding of LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, subnetting, and DNS.
  • Relevant network certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with colleagues, vendors, and the public.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
