Network Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and manage the District's networking infrastructure to ensure seamless operations for voice, data, and wireless services.
- Assist in managing network and physical security solutions to safeguard our systems.
- Provision ONTs, switches, and other devices for deployment in the District's telecommunications network.
- Provide technical support for the District's telecommunications infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze, design, and implement new equipment and network topologies.
- Support the maintenance of the District's server infrastructure.
- Assist with Microsoft endpoint configuration management using Intune.
Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree in Networking or Computer Science with at least two years of experience in information technology.
- Strong technical understanding of LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, subnetting, and DNS.
- Relevant network certifications are preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with colleagues, vendors, and the public.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
