Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding in all positions using SMAW and GTAW processes on stainless steel and carbon steel pipes from schedule 10 to schedule 160.">
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.">
  • Design and build basic and complex structures, supports, or frameworks, collaborating with engineers and specialists in the design and fabrication of custom components.">
  • Cut various alloys using oxy/acetylene torch and plasma arc processes.">
  • Utilize handheld tools such as screw guns, drill guns, and grinders, and operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools.">
  • Create specific weldment setups and fixtures to meet geometric requirements.">
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, performing additional duties as required, including fitting, installing, bolting pipe and valves, rigging, and assisting other crafts.">

Requirements

">

We seek a candidate with 10+ years of experience as a certified welder in the petrochemical, refinery, or related field. The ideal candidate will be able to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 100 ft) and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Proficiency in reading and understanding Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) is also essential. Additionally, the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently, as well as physical capability to carry up to 50 lbs of tools and/or materials, is necessary.
