As a Registered Nurse at Ascension Sacred Heart, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education

You will need to have a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent professional licensure at time of hire.
