Shoreview's skating program offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. As an Ice Skating Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching basic and intermediate skills to children and adults of all levels. You will plan, organize, and conduct classes, ensuring the safety of students and assessing their skills to determine readiness for the next level. You will also adjust your teaching techniques based on the strengths and weaknesses of your students. The program is held at the Ramsey County Shoreview Arena, and classes are typically held on Saturday mornings from October to February. You will work closely with the Parks & Recreation Department to ensure the success of the program. As an Associate employee, you will enjoy a free membership to the Community Center, free parking, direct deposit, and uniforms (where applicable). If you are at least 15 years old and have a passion for ice skating, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Please note that a USFSA instructor registration is desired, but not required.
