Evaluation: Performance in this role will be assessed by the immediate supervisor following established evaluation procedures.

Job Overview: This position serves a dual role as the instructional leader within the school and as the manager of administrative operations. The individual will be responsible for the planning, management, operation, and evaluation of educational programs and services.

Supervision: This role involves overseeing teachers, student teachers, administrative staff, custodial staff, food service personnel, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously assess curriculum and instructional programs to enhance student performance and ensure compliance with academic standards.
  • Facilitate the formation of interdisciplinary teacher teams essential for school improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize diverse data sources to identify instructional enhancements that positively influence student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to determine effective teaching methodologies.
  • Assume principal responsibilities in the absence of the regular principal.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly educational environment, setting high expectations for student conduct and implementing effective intervention strategies.
  • Foster a supportive school climate that demonstrates genuine concern for student welfare.
  • Engage parents and the community in supporting student learning and governance.
  • Promote collaboration and empower staff through participatory decision-making processes.
  • Analyze enrollment data to effectively manage and evaluate the annual school budget for various programs and activities.
  • Adhere to established evaluation procedures for assessing all school personnel.

Qualifications: Candidates must meet the qualifications as outlined in relevant educational regulations, including holding a Master's degree, having a minimum of three years of elementary teaching experience, and possessing an appropriate administrative certification.
