Job Title: Senior CAD Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Engineer to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Senior CAD Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and leadership in the development of CAD designs and engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of CAD engineers to ensure high-quality designs and engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Initiate meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Review and approve design documents and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Perform complex calculations and apply standards correctly without supervision.
  • Lead the team to identify changes in scope of work during mid to large-sized projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure construction projects.
  • Experience using Trimble Business Center, Bentley Micro Station, and/or Open Roads Designer.
  • Experience leading a small team to complete tasks and designs on a project.
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and while collaborating with internal and external parties.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey messages and ideas effectively.
