Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Electrician Journeyman to join our team at TIC - The Industrial Company. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems, including conduit installation, in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduit Installation and Repair: Install, test, and repair electrical conduit, including measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and assembling.
  • Electrical System Installation: Install control and distribution apparatus, and fasten in place, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety.
  • System Testing and Troubleshooting: Test and start up systems, and identify and repair defects or malfunctions.
  • Worksite Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and project rules, and perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in electrical work or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, conduit installation, and safety protocols; ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with management and supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and work in a construction environment with changing outdoor weather conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Construction/industrial site, with exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move and work in confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
