Job Title: Faculty, Professional Nursing - Pediatrics

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our team as a Professional Nursing Faculty in Pediatrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Associate Degree Nursing program, with a focus on pediatric nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students in the Associate Degree Nursing program, with a focus on pediatric nursing.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's learning outcomes and industry standards.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental governance and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and current licensure, certification, or registration.
  • Three years of non-teaching, industry-related work experience within Professional Nursing.
  • Experience in Pediatric and/or NICU Nursing.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas that is in 'good standing'.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching in a community college setting.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
