We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Classroom Assistant Teacher to join our team at UMOS. The successful candidate will work closely with the Classroom Teacher to provide high-quality education and care to young children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Classroom Teacher in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for children aged 0-5 years.
- Work collaboratively with the Classroom Teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Support the Classroom Teacher in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition of information and to build strong relationships with the community.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Classroom Teacher or Center Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education degree or certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use educational software and technology.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
The Classroom Assistant Teacher will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly with colleagues and parents, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
