Banquet Server

Folino Estate Winery is seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events and providing exceptional service to our guests.

• Event Execution: Supervise banquet functions to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Setup and Breakdown: Set-up and breakdown of rooms to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
• Guest Service: Act as the contact person for the guest hosting the event, addressing and fixing any questions or concerns that may arise.
• Wedding Services: Responsible for taking care of the bride and groom and wedding party for weddings.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Quality Control: Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness.
• Cleanliness: Ensure the bridal room and bathroom are cleaned and setup with waters and cheese platter, and that the bride and groom receive cocktail appetizers.
• Buffet Management: Check buffet tables/receptions/coffee breaks for cleanliness, attractiveness, and layout.
• Food Handling: Ensure that unused food is returned to the kitchen, that designated condiments are broken down and properly stored, and all banquet supplies are returned to designated storage areas.
• Teamwork: Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.

• Customer Service: Friendly and courteous demeanor.
• Availability: Flexible availability to work all hours required to meet demands of scheduled functions.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to keep eyes on multiple elements, including food standards, event setup, food presentation, etc.
• Problem-Solving: Dealing with conflict and creating a solution quickly.
• Communication: Accurately communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give orders, and speak with customers clearly.
• Stamina: Ability to work long days around hot cooking elements, much of it on their feet.
