Role: Recreation Therapist
Type: PRN (As Needed)
We are currently in search of a Recreation Therapist to join our team on an as-needed basis (PRN). The Recreation Therapist will evaluate patients' recreational and leisure development needs, facilitating therapy groups that are age and developmentally appropriate, while establishing behavioral treatment objectives aligned with the philosophy and goals of Parkwood Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or a related human services discipline.

Experience:
Preferred: One year of prior experience in a psychiatric setting.

Licensure/Certification:
CTRS certification is preferred.

Knowledge:


Understanding of individual, group, and family therapy principles, group leadership techniques, age-specific development, and crisis intervention strategies.
