Role Responsibilities: The Healthcare Support Specialist will oversee patient flow within the clinic and assist healthcare providers in delivering effective care to our diverse patient population.
Patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, require tailored care, and the focus of this role is on collaborative and delegated tasks as outlined in the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs
- Communicating effectively regarding patient progress and concerns
- Participating in skill assessments and competency validations as required
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant experience
- Preferred certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in computer software applications
- Current BLS Certification required
Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 80 hours per two-week pay period, with day shifts.
Remote or On-site: This role is on-site.
