Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Summary:

This full-time position is responsible for completing and reviewing the pre-anesthetic evaluation of patients and delivering anesthesia as a member of the Anesthesia Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with management of the post-anesthetic and recovery period.
  • Continuously monitor patients' responses to anesthesia and inform surgeons of changes in surgery.
  • Document the course of care during anesthesia.
  • Participate in a 1 in 9 call rotation.
  • Work 2 holidays per year.
  • Rotate shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an approved school of nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Holds or is eligible for current licensure in the State of South Dakota
  • Certified or eligible for anesthesia practice by the American Association for Nurse Anesthetists Council on Recertification
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required, with onsite training provided
  • Continuing education is required annually

Salary and Bonus:

$286,861.95/year, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus, Executive Benefits Plan, and premium-paid health and dental insurance.
