Job Title: Mechanical Claims Representative

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Claims Representative to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Mechanical Claims Representative, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation of honesty, fairness, and excellence by combining exceptional customer service and your automotive expertise to assist customers through our customer contact center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, investigate, and authorize minor mechanical claims based on established contract guidelines
  • Communicate with retail and wholesale customers, repair facilities, and non-related parties to resolve and process claims
  • Utilize technology and communication tools to process claims, review policies and procedures, labor times, and retrieve documents
  • Apply knowledge of automotive repair and labor guides to determine claim eligibility

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of automotive mechanical experience or mechanical claims experience
  • ASE or other Automotive certification preferred (can be expired)
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Experience with labor guides and scan tools (not required)
