The Senior Trend Forecaster will be responsible for developing comprehensive presentations that will inform Forever 21's design and purchasing teams about the current styles, graphics, and color trends being adopted by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Trend Director to grasp the overarching trend, print, and color strategies that Forever 21 will implement by season, brand, or style.
- Aid in assembling the color forecast that will serve as the foundation for each brand's trend package by researching and predicting current fashion trends and color palettes.
- Collect and categorize items by brand/style to compile all necessary materials for creating seasonal trend packages.
- Oversee the research, compilation, and distribution of trend packages for assigned brands, ensuring timely delivery of all materials.
- Provide support for ad-hoc trend reports and inquiries from Buying teams as needed.
- Offer trend and color feedback during item styling and color approvals, recommending necessary adjustments before market release.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Buying and Trend Forecasting roles is essential.
- Strong ability to identify fashion colors and trends is a must.
- A keen eye for design and the capability to research and monitor the latest trends is necessary.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and In-Design at an intermediate level is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within deadlines are required.

Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 annually, based on various factors including the position offered and work experience. In addition to your salary, Forever 21 and its affiliated brands provide a benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedules, and a generous employee discount program, all subject to eligibility.
