Job Summary

The Fashion Designer will be responsible for managing the design process from conception to final styling, conducting market research to identify new trends and fabrics, and collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes and create new concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts that align with the company's business strategy
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select seasonal themes and create new product lines
  • Ensure that products meet quality and style standards
  • Select fabrics and trims that meet the company's quality and aesthetic standards
  • Develop production sketches and collaborate with technical designers to ensure accurate development packages
  • Review and approve product designs for style and fit
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in design or fine arts, or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
  • Excellent design and conceptual skills
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
