Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with patients, providing individualized support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a deeper understanding of addiction and mental health issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of continuing care plans, ensuring a smooth transition from residential to outpatient care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of treatment programs.
- Master's degree in behavioral sciences, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with certification as a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP).
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in an outpatient, day treatment, residential, or hospital setting, addressing substance dependency and mental health issues.
- Comprehensive understanding of addiction and mental health disorders, including the emotional and behavioral effects of addiction.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
