Inova Health System is seeking a Histology Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Histology Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in histology laboratory practices, technical skills, and advanced troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assist team members in all areas of the Histology Laboratory.
  • Ensure team members are meeting key-deliverables and quality standards.
  • Manage and track performance, and assist in time management and scheduling.
  • Maintain department compliance with current standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance workflow and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Medical Lab Sciences.
  • 5 years of experience in histology laboratory practices, technical skills, and advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Certification as a Histotechnologist.
