Administrative Support Specialist

Job Overview:
Fram Monument Company is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to play a vital role in shaping the customer experience at our location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, handling phone inquiries, and gathering essential information for our memorial counselors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Convey information effectively and actively listen to customer needs
- Provide empathetic assistance, especially during sensitive situations
- Ensure all customer requests and questions are addressed thoroughly and promptly
- Liaison Between Memorial Counselors and Cemeteries
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintaining office records accurately
- Handle correspondence and email communications efficiently
- Assist in preparing paperwork and billing as needed
- Office
- Help ensure phones and emails are answered promptly
- Other office duties
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree (A.A.) preferred
Experience:
- At least one year of experience as an intake specialist, office assistant, or similar role required
- Experience with customer service required
Skills:
- Brief computer knowledge
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, etc.)
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Able to create, edit, print, scan, and send various forms of documentation
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Professional communication and a friendly demeanor
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
- Effective record keeping and organizational skills
- Desire to learn industry-specific knowledge, such as:
- Local cemetery contacts and rules
- The types of monuments provided
- Fram Monument's unique workflow
