Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic and CT procedures, utilizing computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of examinations.
  • Operate CT scanners, positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings to obtain optimal images.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT technology and radiologic procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • Current New York State license and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment.
  • Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography (CT) preferred.
