Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and radiographic equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as needed to enhance image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • New York State license to practice as a radiologic technologist.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced certification in computed tomography (CT) preferred.
