Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast media, if applicable.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
