Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare daily and month-end closing entries, conduct account analyses and reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with designers and sales representatives to address royalty/commission inquiries, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage and update the general ledger chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accruals and Audits: Post accruals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, and support annual financial and collateral audits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes and reduce expenses, and implement changes as needed.
  • ERP System Utilization: Utilize ERP systems effectively for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
  • Analytical Projects: Execute analytical projects as required, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, with proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Certifications: CPA certification preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, and a team-oriented approach.
