Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at MedStar Health. As a Multiskilled Rad Technologist, you will conduct a variety of radiographic examinations for use by a physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiographic examinations using computer programmed and manual equipment.
  • Operate radiological equipment to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians.
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
  • Provide the utmost attention to the individual medical needs, dignity, and comfort of all patients.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • ARRT Radiography registration and state licensure.
  • 3-4 years' experience in the registry post-primary pathway certification preferred.
  • Registry, NMTCB, or ARDMS status maintained by fulfilling education/registry requirements in one or more of the following registries: MRI, CT, Mammography, Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, Quality Management, or Sonography.
  • CHCQM - Certified Healthcare Quality Management through the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
  • Active Maryland state licensure.
  • CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits:
