Job SummaryAs a Residential Senior Appraiser at Vision Government Solutions, you will play a critical role in the mass appraisal process, working directly under the direction of the Project Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the valuation and review process of residential properties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our revaluation projects across New England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all facets of the residential mass appraisal process, including training and supervising junior staff members.
  • Perform field reviews of residential properties to ensure data and categorization accuracy.
  • Develop cost tables and verify sales data to determine a cost approach to value.
  • Participate in informal hearings with taxpayers and maintain positive relations with clients, the public, and company personnel.
  • Communicate job status effectively through various means and complete a final Mass Appraisal Document in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of appraisal experience with a working knowledge of the mass appraisal process.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Experience working in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
