Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, customer referrals, and personal networking.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers to grow their business and retain their loyalty.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver professional sales presentations to commercial customers, utilizing our established sales process to close deals and provide the best solutions for their needs.
  • Proposal Preparation: Utilize relevant systems and information to prepare proposals for commercial customers, explaining technical information in an easy-to-understand language.
  • Marketing and Sales Tools: Leverage Service Experts' marketing data and tools to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Administration: Prepare and complete all required documentation, obtaining customer signatures and maintaining accurate records of sales visits.
  • Relationship Management: Actively manage and maintain relationships with strategic commercial customers, supporting ongoing relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal staff to ensure that work is scheduled and completed according to company standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed set Key Performance Indicators, including revenue growth, close rate, lead generation, and service agreement sales.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Sales Experience: Proven sales experience with a focus on business-to-business selling, cold calling, and generating sales through personal networking and lead generation.
  • Commercial Service Sales Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Communication and Relationship Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong relationship-management and coaching skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of the operational functionality of commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as related accessories.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of basic business accounting, including job costing, profit margin, and cost of sales.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs and ladders to access HVAC equipment, as well as read product data and take measurements.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
