Job Summary:

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to lead our Instrumentation and Controls team on a major nuclear construction project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of complex instrumentation and control systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers to ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are installed and commissioned to the highest standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed in accordance with project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members to ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are installed and commissioned correctly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or instrumentation and control engineering.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including design, installation, and commissioning. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as API 670 or API 1169.
