Job Summary
The Paramedic is a critical member of our emergency medical services team, responsible for providing total comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations. This role requires a high level of skill, expertise, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, and develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Provide emergency medical care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and stabilizing patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transitions
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency medical care
Requirements
- 6 months of clinical experience as an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic
- 1 year of clinical experience as an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic preferred
- Graduate Paramedic required
- Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Science preferred
- Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification required
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Insurance required
- Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability required
Work Schedule
This role requires working weekend days, with 3-12 hour shifts per week. Every weekend is required.
