Pricing Specialist/DSD

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a skilled Pricing Specialist/DSD to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring pricing integrity in our stores by maintaining and updating pricing and shelf tag information. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Receive and verify price tags using a handheld scanner to ensure proper item pricing at the store level.
• Assist with price corrections in the computer system as needed.
• Tear, sort, and hang price tags; ensure displays and shelves have accurate pricing and signage.
• Verify and apply price changes from ads, ad corrections, and discontinued clearance items.
• Ensure that computerized pricing maintenance is kept current and relevant information is preserved.
• Receive direct store delivery products and check invoices for accuracy, resolving discrepancies and assessing product for damage.
• Monitor vendor activity and ensure products are stocked correctly, advising vendors of necessary actions.
• Ensure correct checkout totals for customers by properly weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Remain current on tender policies and procedures related to checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, WIC, AML, etc.
• Maintain a friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, locating and promoting products, and responding to complaints.

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• TABC/LACT certification required where applicable.
