Pricing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Specialist to join our team at Brookshire Grocery Company. As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring pricing integrity in our stores by maintaining and updating pricing and shelf tag information.

• Receive and verify price tags using a handheld scanner to ensure proper item pricing at the store level.
• Assist with price corrections in the computer system as needed.
• Tear, sort, and hang price tags; ensure displays and shelves have accurate pricing and signage.
• Verify and apply price changes from ads, ad corrections, and discontinued clearance items.
• Ensure computerized pricing maintenance is kept current and relevant information is preserved.
• Receive direct store delivery products such as soda, chips, alcohol, etc. and check invoices for accuracy.
• Monitor vendor activity and ensure products are stocked correctly.
• Ensure correct checkout totals for customers by properly weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain a friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to complaints.

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school Diploma or GED required.
• TABC/LACT certification required where applicable.

Work is generally performed in a retail store with a quiet to moderate noise level.
