The Radiology Department is a critical component of our hospital's operations, and we are seeking an experienced leader to oversee its daily activities.

Radiology Department Manager Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Radiology Department Manager to lead our team of professionals in providing exceptional patient care and advancing our department's performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements and enhance patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets for the Radiology Department
  • Direct the daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective communication with staff and patients
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and respect within the department
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience
  • Mentor and develop staff members to achieve their full potential and advance the department's goals

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited imaging program or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in radiology, with at least 2 years of management experience
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in radiology, with state licensure if required

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
