Faculty Position in Radiologic Technology

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Radiologic Technology Instructor in our Allied Health Department at Southwest Tennessee Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in radiologic technology, as well as participating in curriculum development and academic advising.

About the Position

This is a full-time, academic faculty position that requires a strong commitment to teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field, as well as significant experience in the profession.

Responsibilities
  • Teach radiologic technology courses, including lecture and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement curriculum for radiologic technology programs
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including student attendance and grades
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide meetings and committees
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree required (Master's preferred)
  • Progress towards a Master's degree with completion in accordance with JRCERT accreditation requirement deadlines
  • Two (2) years experience as an instructor preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Equivalent of three (3) years full-time experience in the professional discipline
Estimated Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
